Meteorological data has been used in determining of global and diffuse solar radiation for years. Various methods have been developed and proved to be accurately comparable to the measured value. Among all, the most common meteorological parameter used are cloud cover, sunshine duration hours and number of rainy days. A review of various methods used in determination of global solar radiation by using cloud cover is presented in this paper.en_US
