dc.description.abstract | Eye is one of the most important sensory organs in our human body. Ophthalmologists are ineligible to carry any mistakes during surgical operations since it will end up patients lost their sight forever. The rising of surgical simulator which provides high-fidelity platform allows professional surgeons and medical practitioners have another alternative to sharpen their surgical skills. This paper addressed the system architecture of an eye surgery simulator. Force feedback haptic device is integrated into the system in order to provide actual sensation from the contact between surgical instrument and eye model. | en_US |
