Intelligent Sensor for Reversing Vehicles

Abstract

The Intelligent Sensor for Reversing Vehicles comprises of a stereo camera (placed on the rear bumper of the car), a processing unit, a display unit and speaker (placed near the dashboard of the car). The cameras are activated during reversing, when a child (especially toddler) / object is detected in the blind zone of the vehicle, the driver is alerted by the system through a visual and audio alarm.
