This paper presents the validation tests conducted for a development of a six months old numerical child dummy model. The model was developed using flexible component for all the parts going through the validation test and the rest was modeled using rigid bodies. To ensure accuracy, the geometries were taken from Malaysian child and statistical analysis has been done to obtain the desired measurement. Three major validation tests need to be performed which is head drop test, pendulum neck test and thorax impact test. Each of the tests has it own threshold values that need to be met. This test was performed to ensure that the numerical child developed can be used in a crash test and meet the specification of a six months old child.
