dc.description.abstract | This paper provides a structured procedure to evaluate the effect of mental workload and mental performance experimentally. The objective of this study is to investigate the
relation and pattern of mental performance using Electroencephalography (EEG). EEG signals were recorded on ten subjects performing their mental workload tasks in 60
minutes time duration. Mental workload task contains 50 questions with four categories: mathematical intelligence, classification, logical and verbal intelligence. The results found that there is a strong correlation between RMS of EEG bands and time. The RMS values for all of EEG bands tend to decrease from the beginning until the end of the task. It indicated that mental workload task could affect the brain activity and also the
performance. | en_US |
