Based on observations, most of the restaurant has improved their services day by day. Conventional method and technology based system usually already applied in many restaurants. For those who are visually impaired, they always had difficulties to make ordering. So, they just have to wait for the waiter to come and the waiter has to help them by telling the list of menu one by one. Thus, a restaurant should work out a new system as other alternatives in ordering food. The aim of this project is to develop a speech based on Auto Ordering System (AOS) that can assist the visually impaired when they make an order in a restaurant. This system provides an interactive two-ways communication between the customer and the system. Microsoft Visual Studio is software that being used to create the graphical user interface (GUI) for auto ordering system. To develop a speech based system, the whole program can be written on a windows form using C# language. The system builds using speech-to-text (STT) concept and text-to-speech (TTS) concept. This system needs a database system that will responsible to store all the menus that has been requested by customer.en_US
