    Abstract
Campus is generally the land which a college or university and often including the buildings such as libraries, lecture halls, and others. A smart campus automation system using LabVIEW via broadband has been developing to make people in the campus easy to achieve some daily activities in the life and feel comfortable living in the campus. The major contribution in this project is LabVIEW which is able to monitor and control the lighting system for avoiding the wasting electrical energy everyday especially in the morning. The system also has connection with internet to monitor and control the campus equipment from anywhere in the world. Besides, this project involves designing hardware and software development with using LabVIEW. In the beginning, the hardware is developing with two parts which are circuit construction and DAQ board configuration. Then, software is developing with two parts which are LabVIEW software and remote control personal computer configuration. The sensor is used in this project is Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) that will detect the light. Lamps at campus are ‘off’ depending on presented of light at LDR on that time and vice versa. In the morning, LDR will detect presented of light, so lamps at campus will be off immediately. Then, at the night LDR detect no lights, so lamps at campus will turn on. Finally, this system will be save a lot of energy and cost of electricity in the campus.
