Siti Nur Wasilah, Mohd Zuki (Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP)School of Computer and Communication Engineering, 2015-06)Nowadays, many presentations require relatively simple control of the computer during the actual presentation. A device for direct control of presentation using the control of laser beam is presented. System implementation ... -
Design considerations of high performance optical code division multiple access: A new spectral amplitude code based on laser and light emitting diode light source
Hilal Adnan, Fadhil; Syed Alwee Aljunid, Syed Junid, Prof. Madya; R. Badlishah, Ahmad, Prof. Madya Dr. (The Institution of Engineering and Technology, 2010-02-01)A new code of optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) based on spectral amplitude coding (SAC) is described and analysed. The coding technique is called random diagonal (RD) code. One of the important properties of ... -
Comparison of dry and wet fibre laser profile cutting of thin 316L stainless steel tubes for medical device applications
Noorhafiza, Muhammad; Whitehead, David; Boor, Alan; Li, Lin (Elsevier B.V., 2010-11-19)In medical coronary stent fabrication, high precision profile cutting with minimum post-processing is desirable. Existing methods of profiling thin tubular metallic materials are based mainly on the use of Nd:YAG lasers. ...
