dc.description.abstract | Battery level indicator is the project that indicates status of battery by use of
LED and LCD. This project can know the status of battery left. This is can give easier to people and can be more alert then about status of battery level. The battery level indicator is shown in dot or bar form in mobile phones. This can easily recognize the battery level. Battery level indicator can present a circuit that can know the battery level of a device from
the number of LED glowing and display on LCD. Battery level indicator is introduced
before by people from other country that have same concept such as in 1938 by Heyer. He
was introduced the battery capacity indicator to show percentage battery.
Indicator indicates quantity power and voltage of battery that left. This project is
used LED and LCD method to show the input. The battery level is known by the colour,
and number of LED glowing at a time. The LCD is display the percentage and voltage of
the battery. This circuit mainly use IC LM3914 which is basically as LED controller to
operate LED. Instead of using the LED and LCD controller in this circuit, using a
microcontroller is important key to upgraded of this project that can make battery level
indicator more complex in electronic devices. | en_US |
