    Abstract
The purpose of this study is to solve the problem of workers lifting the fertilizer bag at Fertilizer Manufacturing Company. This study used questionnaires Nordic as questionnaires or structured interviews. However, a higher frequency of musculoskeletal problems reported when the questionnaire was administered as part of the study focused on issues of muscle and work factors. In addition, this study also uses some tools to identify the quality of the risk incurred by employees when performing work which is Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) and Manual Tool Assessment Chart (MAC TOOL). This problem was identified, and improvements have been made to design a cart to help employees solve problems ergonomically lifting bags of fertilizer. The trolley is designed using CATIA drawings. In this CATIA drawing, finite element analysis (FEA) is used to determine the durability of the materials used to produce either a trolley design can accommodate a load of 15696 N. Using finite element analyses, this trolley can accommodate the load applied and the load is still below the yield strength of the material used. With this trolley expected income workers can perform the work in good ergonomic practices and reduce musculoskeletal disorder when performing work.
