dc.description.abstract | This thesis is a full report on improvement in schoolbag design for elementary school students. Nowadays, elementary school student were carrying too much weight on
their back to school every days. Its will become affected on musculoskeletal system and
give some problems such as back pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain. This project focused
on the ergonomic design in giving more comfortability to school children. The
preliminary design is based on the bag concept ideas which classified to make a better selection on decision making. The design with drawing by CATIA software is more
easier way. This design was analyzed von mises stress after drawing. The new schoolbag
redesign is a combination of saddlebag concept, trolley bag, travel bag and rucksack bag concept. The MannequinPro used for analyze the force when use the different types of bag. The conceptualization will distributed the loading forces to all surface and not only concentrate on one point. Trolley concept used for multiply used when they bring the new school bag. This concept will give a new result in schoolbag design especially to elementary school students. | en_US |
