Carbon Footprint is a concept to assess the level of greenhouse gas emissions caused by the human activity. This concept aims to understand and evaluate the human activities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere. Thus, finally able to propose solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere, that will cause global warming. Agricultural activity is the second largest contributor of greenhouse gas emission. Activities fertilizer to nourish plants will contribute to the levels of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere The main objective of this study is to identify the types of greenhouse gases that are emitted by the soil under application of fertilizer.. Static chamber method, tedlar bag and syringe were used to collect gas samples for analysis. In addition, data such as soil temperature, soil alkalinity level and moisture content were recorded, and were used to discuss factors that affect the rate of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere. Third objective of this study was to calculate the greenhouse gas emissions in the form of carbon footprint, is carbon dioxide equivalent (CO 2 e). Based on result, total carbon footprint from soil under application of fertilizer is 61.93 kg CO2e.en_US
