dc.description.abstract | In the application in industry, productivity rate can be calculated with the mathematical model of the automated flow line. Automated flow lines are universal and widely used in industry which can be either in a linear arrangement or rotor arrangement. Complicated of manual calculation mathematical model result in higher failure rate and time consume. A computational system is required, which can be applied to measure,
predict, analysis and improve the productivity rate effectively. The aim of this research
study is to develop a productivity rate for rotor arrangement with parallel action in
automated flow line analysis system (PRRAPAAS). The first objective for this research
study is is the development of PRRAPAAS with MATLAB based Graphical User
Interface (GUI) application. This development technique is starting from the layout
design and ending with the program running. The second objective is the validation of
the system of productivity in automated flow line. This study utilized comparison
method between the existing mathematical model with the result of PRRAPAAS as the
validation purpose. In this manual measurement task, DCA method that consists of
three stages known as data calculation, calculation and analysis of failure rate are used
as the comparison with the PRRAPAAS result. The result between both the result are
almost similar since the system apply the existing mathematical model as insertion
model codding. It is proved to be a successful application, which is useful to visualize
the productivity rate respect to the number of stations and analyse the failure rate for the
evaluation of the productivity. | en_US |
