dc.description.abstract | Visual Management is acknowledged in visual working environments, which are organized with information giving, flagging, restricting or ensuring. This paper approaches visual system in lean manufacturing and aims to identify and measure the closely related parameters of visual system and also examines the regression and ANOVA of their contribution to overall visual system. The methodology approach is a questionaire survey study was performed in Advanced Composites Manufacturing industries to collect data. The reliability of the survey instrument was pre-tested and an acceptable value of Cronbach's alpha (a reliability coefficient) was found. Pearson's coefficient of correlation analysis was used to measure the strength of the relationships between various parameters of visual system. The study parameter are "communication" to be the most important parameter of visual system, followed by "variety of visual feature". The survey shows that most of the respondents are having acceptable knowledge towards the realization of visual system. Research limitations are; sample size (n=29). A practical implication of the present study provides guidelines to asses the status of visual system in the manufacturing industries. | en_US |
