dc.description.abstractThe structural weaknesses are very important in construction project. Any construction project such as the biggest project has to achieve the zero causes due to structural weaknesses. The goal of the project aims to find the ways to reduce the structural weaknesses towards industrialized building system (IBS) in Malaysia, to identify the type of components of IBS uses in Perlis industrial as well as provides recommendations for employees to follow instruction and installation of IBS components in a way that correct. All the interview and research conducted at the contractors and consultants around Perlis, registered as grade 4 to grade 7 with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB). The results shows that the most of the causes of failure due to the installation parts. In addition, there are several modules and method of statement, which can be used as a reference for the installation of IBS components. In conclusion, the introduction of a module or a method of statement as a reference to all workers, and provide training for the installation of IBS components and enhance the level of IBS construction in Malaysia.en_US
