Cathode materials for high energy density rechargeable lithium-ion batteris
Abstract
In this project, the Li2MnO3 cathode material is synthesis using solid-state reaction. The
characterization is done by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). While another LiV3O8 cathode material is synthesis using sol-gel method with the characterization of X-ray diffraction (XRD). From
the XRD data obtain, there are changes in the diffraction pattern when the temperature is
increase. The project focuses on the XRD pattern by using Rietvelt refinement method with
the aids of Highscore Plus software. The XRD was performed to all samples by using XRD
Bruker D2 Phaser model.
