    Abstract
This research finding was about preparation of Ag/TiO₂ thin fllm by using sol-gel method. Three different parameter was used in this research by using pure titanium, 0.5g of doped silver and 1.0g of dopes silver that coated on the glass slide. Ag/TiO₂ thin film were studied using X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Sanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Ultraviolet-Visible Spectroscopy (UV-Vis). Besides that, the study for compostion of the sample, surface morphology and optical properties was as medium to get information. During annealing process, the temperature will effect the result for XRD nad SEM. The XRD result was show that all the samples were in anatase phase and the highest intensity is at the most amount of silver used. The surface morphology is to study the microstructure of the sample with different parameter by using SEM. The scanning electron microscope (SEM) observed the variety sizes of porosity and growth of Volmer Weber with sample for different amount of silver and pure titanium. UV-Vis testing is to observe the optical properties such as absorbance and transmission for the thin film. Transmission is the reflectance data from absorbance and the highest data for obsorbnace will be the lowest for transmission. Different amount of silver give the different result characterization.
